- OBITUARY (Find A Grave Memorial):
Debra Kay King, 56, of Miles City passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, in Billings after a brief illness.
She was born on July 12, 1953, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Carl King and Iris (King) Rogers.
When she was very young the family returned to Miles City. She lived in Miles City until 1984, when she moved to the Bozeman area.
In 1994 she became the owner/operator of the Fifth Ace Saloon. She ran the Fifth Ace with the love of her life, Eddie Gann, until 2000. They were avid pool players and played in and held many pool tournaments over the years. She made many, many dear friends at that time of her life. After losing Eddie in 2003, she returned to Miles City where she lived for the remainder of her life.
She was very close to her friends and family there and will truly be missed. Her dry sense of humor and sarcastic wit could always be counted on to make you laugh. Oh, the things she would say... She wasn't perfect, but she was a great friend and mother, and was always there for those about whom she cared.
Her survivors include her daughter, Kelly King (Aaron) of Bozeman; sisters, Judy (Tom) Tyler of Bozeman, Carla King of Miles City and Sharon (Gary) Lloyd of Powell, Wyo.; brothers, Randy King of Miles City and Argaylon King of Ekalaka; dear friend, Neva King of Miles City; grandchildren, Trinity Balyeat and Tanyan Eslick of Bozeman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl King; mother, Iris Rogers; brother, Warren Rogers; sisters Nadine Skarlock and Modell Nordquist; and love, Eddie Gann.
Funeral services were on Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
Interment followed in the Custer County Cemetery.
