“Patricia Ann Rodriguez
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. tomorrow (Monday) at Glendale Presbyterian Church for Patricia Ann Rodriguez, 54. Mrs. Rodriguez died July 3 in Burbank.
Born in Glendale, Mrs. Rodriguez resided in Eagle Rock, Costa Mesa and Pomona before moving to Valencia in 1971. She moved to Glendale in 1980.
A teacher for 28 years, Mrs. Rodriguez received her bachelor’s degree from San Jose State College and her master’s degree from the University of California, Redlands. She taught at schools in Newport Beach anbd Pomona and her last teaching position was at Sierra Vista Junior High School in Canyon Counry. In 1983, she was honored with an award from William S. Hart School District teachers.
Mrs. Rodriguez was a member of the Glendale Presbyterian Church and the National Education Association and served as a district representative for the California Teachers Association.
Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Jay Rodriguez of Glendale; daughter, Kate McNab of San Francisco; and four sons, John Rodriguez of San Diego, and Paul J. Rodriguez, David Rodriguez and Steven Rodriguez, all of Glendale. A sister, Mary Ellen Carter of the San Fernando Valley, also survives.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. today (Sunday) at Todd Memorial Chapel, 570 N. Garey Ave., Pomona. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the University of California, San Diego, Medical Center, 225 Dickenson St., San Diego, Calif. 91203.”
